Just north of Silverthorne is amazing Dusky/Blue Grouse hunting. Bird populations are good, and the season runs for almost 2 months. We offer pet friendly short-term rentals so you and your bird dog can come back and relax in comfort after a long day afield. Here at Summit Resort Group, we believe in spoiling your bird dog and yourself.

Summit County also offers amazing fly-fishing! Gold medal waters right in the heart of town on the Blue River. Fall is a great time for fishing, water levels are consistent, the fish are hungry, and the fall foliage is at its peak. At Summit Resort Group we offer vacation rentals within walking distance of great fishing, we even have one with private river access.

If off-roading is more your style, we have awesome off-road trails in the area. Everything from mild and scenic like Boreas Pass, suitable for most stock 4-wheel drive and SUV vehicles; to trails that will get your adrenaline pumping like Radical Hill and Wheeler Lake, where a modified/built rig is required. After a day on the trails, you can head back to your vacation rental and ease the aches away in the hot tub or by the fire. We even have some units that offer trailer parking.
